 Getting around on foot

Melbourne is a picturesque city, with parks and gardens, hidden laneways, beautiful buildings and more to explore. What better way to take it all in than on foot? Across the city, sign-posted jogging and walking tracks guide you through some of Melbourne’s most picture-perfect paths, parks and gardens.

You can also join the joggers around the famous ‘Tan’, the path surrounding the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne, or take a self-guided tour strolling through the Fitzroy and Treasury Gardens. For a waterfront experience walk along the Yarra River from the Swan Street Bridge towards the city, as far as Crown Entertainment Complex.
