This year’s Moomba Festival presented a huge range of fun and free activities, with many new additions to the program.

As always, Moomba drew many thousands of people into the city to enjoy the festive atmosphere of Australia’s largest community event.

Melbourne took its reputation for turning on 'four seasons in one day' at Moomba, putting on quite a show for the festival. But the wild weather didn't keep Moomba's loyal fans away for long and crowds returned after the deluge to enjoy all of Moomba’s many activities and events.

The Moomba Parade attracted around 100,000 spectators, all lining Swanston Street to experience the magnificent parade and welcome back the Moomba King and Queen.

Sun shining, the Parade was a spectacle of colour, culture, dance and performance, creating a fond memories for all who attended.
