Thank you for registering your interest in a Melbourne Greeter Service orientation.
The service is subject to availability, so we will contact you on the contact number you provided as soon as possible if we are unable to meet the first preference you requested. As we will be using the telephone number or email address you just provided, if your contact details change, please let us know via the email address or phone number below.
Orientation information:
If we are able to match your request, the following information will be of help:
- Where to meet
Unless you hear otherwise, we will see you at 9.30am at the Melbourne Visitor Centre at Federation Square (downstairs at the corner of Swanston and Flinders streets) on the date of your first preference.
- What to wear and bring
As your orientation will involve walking and potentially using public transport, we recommend you wear comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen (even on cloudy days), a hat and bring a bottle of water and change (coins) for the tram.
- Who to contact
If you need to cancel this service or require any further information, please contact the Melbourne Greeter Service on (03) 9658 9558 (weekdays), (03) 9658 9942 (weekends) mobile 0401 993 101 or email [email protected].
As this is a volunteer service, we ask that you contact us with as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or change any part of your request.
We hope to be able to match your request and look forward to contacting you shortly.
Please note:
- Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
- Only the people whose names were registered in the online booking form will be able to join the orientation unless prior approval is given. Please call the above contact numbers should you wish to enquire about additional people joining your orientation (the maximum group size is four).
- The Melbourne Greeter Service is not a professional tour. Melbourne has many fantastic professional tours, facilitated by professional tour guides.
